StAR SCHOLARSHIP

The Bel Canto Scholarship is a scholarship/internship open to Napa County high school seniors, who are interested in pursuing a music education. While we emphasize students of voice, students of piano accompaniment, choral conducting and choral composition are also encouraged to apply. The students selected for this program will have the option of participating as integral parts of the ensemble for a semester and performing with us at our concert series; however, this will not be a condition of the award. A total of four scholarships will be given annually.
Our scholarship recipients will be awarded $1,500 and may choose to receive the mentorship of several ensemble members with extensive professional musical experience.
Online application requirements include:
- Personal statement of 500 words or less
- Teacher recommendation (school music teacher or private instructor)

Applications open on August 15, 2024. Deadline for submissions is May 1, 2025.
